NWS maggots can infest any warm-blooded animal, including birds. If you see maggots on any

of your pets, you should contact the vet office immediately.

Please note: Due to the detection of New World Screwworm in the United States, the USDA has

halted the export of some species of animals into Mexico. The doctors and staff at Monterey Park Animal Hospital are monitoring the changes and updates from the USDA as they

are changing rapidly.
